Growing up, my father owned a drywall company on Vancouver Island. Much of my childhood time was spent with him on construction sites during all phases of a build. I always found it so interesting. However, instead of following in his footsteps, I studied ballet and moved to Toronto to attend the National Ballet School when I was 13. After graduating, I joined the National Ballet of Canada as a soloist and enjoyed an 18-year career performing all over Canada and the world. 

During summer holidays, I often returned home to work with my dad, deepening my appreciation for craftsmanship and the value of hard, honest work. When I retired I traded in my dance shoes for a pair of work boots, and began renovating a few homes on my own. A few years later I teamed up with a construction company as a project manager and general contractor across both residential and commercial projects.

After 10 years in the industry, I founded Richland Renovations with a clear vision — to raise the standard of what homeowners can expect from their renovation experience. That means managing every project with care, keeping quality and communication at the forefront, and surrounding myself with skilled, reliable tradespeople who take pride in their work.
